We are pleased to announce that the renovation of our toilets is now completed.  We would like to thank everyone who has enabled this project to succeed.  This includes York & North Yorkshire Combined Authority from whom we obtained a grant covering 80% of the cost through the Government's UK Shared Prosperity Fund; N.Y.C. Councillor Simon Myers donated from his Locality Budget; the beer festival provided a generous donation; and so many villagers contributed in numerous fund raising ways.  We would also like to thank all those involved in the construction process i.e. the main contractor, JD Mounsey Ltd; and also Brian Hugill, Electrician; Ian Robinson Joinery; Ryan Glynn Plastering; Andrew Mounsey Floor Coverings; Kathryn Matthew Decorator; and John Green Training & Consultancy Ltd, Health & Safety Consultant.
